This is a letter press collage I created using a HUGE, old fancy wood type “8”, which I then cut in half and used in this collage. The other bits of ephemera include an invoice from the 1920s, a newsletter bulletin featuring fruit prices, also from the 1920s; a bit of offset printing; and a sticker that came with a package. I love that blue-black monochromatic look!
This piece measures 8×10” (matted 5×7”) and is oriented vertically. It comes in a chunky black frame that you can either hang or place on a shelf or mantel.
