This class is for people who want to learn easy ways to dye fabric and paper without a lot of cost outset! Three different types of dyeing will be covered in the class.


We'll be learning how easy it is to dye items with powdered dyes using the ice-dye method. We'll also be dying fabric and paper using rust! We will also jump into carded watercolors to create beautiful fabrics and papers!

Join us for a fun afternoon learning the forgiving medium of gell printing. Using a simple new printmaking technique, participants will learn how to create unique, beautiful monoprints that can be used in collage or framed for stand alone compositions. Techniques taught will be beginning printmaking with the gell plate, stencils and masks, photo transfer, chine collé, and layering. Bring your adventuresome spirit and jump into this world of surprises and happy accidents. No prior experience required. All materials provided.

We’ll learn how to create drypoint prints using various techniques: monoprints, watercoloring prints, and chine collé! You’ll be so happy with your results! :)
