August is an interesting month - we lose a lot of daylight and even though it’s technically still summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, fall is in the air (where we have seasons, anyway!). Colors are starting to turn, ever so slowly. It’s a special time! It’s what I wanted to convey in this Forest Floor piece, when the woods remind us of the beauty of change.
This piece was created with commercial papers, hand-dyed (by me) papers and fabrics, yarn scraps, and hand and machine embroidery. It measures 3×5” and comes with a chunky black frame.
